Your Five Variable Love Profile
Propensity for Monogamy:

Your propensity for monogamy is medium.
In general, you prefer to have only one love interest.
But it's hard for you to stay devoted for too long!
There's too much eye candy to keep you from wandering.

Experience Level:

Your experience level is medium.
You probably have had a couple significant loves.
And you may have even had your heart broken.
But you haven't really dated a wide variety of people.

Dominance:

Your dominance is medium.
You tend to be the one with more power.
You aren't a total control freak in relationships..
But of course you don't mind getting you way!

Cynicism:

Your cynicism is medium.
You'd like to believe in true and everlasting love...
But you've definitely been burned enough to know better.
You're still an optimist, but you also are a realist.

Independence:

Your independence is high.
You don't need to be in love, and sometimes you don't even want love.
Having your own life is very important for you...
Even more important than having a relationship.

You Are an Espresso
At your best, you are: straight shooting, ambitious, and energetic

At your worst, you are: anxious and high strung

You drink coffee when: anytime you're not sleeping

Your caffeine addiction level: high
Your Candy Heart Says "Get Real"
You're a bit of a cynic when it comes to love.
You don't lose your head, and hardly anyone penetrates your heart.

Your ideal Valentine's Day date: is all about the person you're seeing (with no mentions of v-day!)

Your flirting style: honest and even slightly sarcastic

What turns you off: romantic expectations and "greeting card" holidays

Why you're hot: you don't just play hard to get - you are hard to get
What Does Your Candy Heart Say?

What Rose Is Your Soul Bound To?

Your soul is bound to the Black Rose: The Wicked."I am the wicked specemin of sin with no profound logic to believe in.  Hold me tight, but don't hold me close, I go where I desire."The Black Rose is associated with manipulation, control, and virtuosity.  It is governed by the goddess Psyche and its sign is The Tapestry, or Crafted Love.As a Black Rose, you may have a slight wicked streak running through you.  But whether you are naughty or nice is up for debate.  You know how to get what you want and can work people for what they're worth.  You have great people skills, but can sometimes be a bit of a control freak.

Well, my story.

My first Cornerstone as an "employee" was much more fun than I expected it to be. Made some new friends (Buddy and Joey) who have a band called Mercury Radio Theater. You can buy their cd if you like but I suggest checking out their live show first as it is much appealing to the eyes as well as the ears. Headnoise played a show that kicked my butt. Disciple's set was mind blowing! You could even say it was amp blowing considering one of the amps caught fire about three songs in and released a lot of smoke and a smell that made my nose want to run and hide. One of the guys I graduated high school with has a band that played at the fest and I went to see them (The Black Tie Suicides). They were alright. Pretty typical southern California band if you ask me, but then, maybe you've never heard a typical southern California band and maybe they would appeal to you like they didn't to me.

Monday: Day after the fest. I hung out with the Clark family, Nate Cameron, Brian and Ami Moss as well as a bunch of others. It was so much fun!! We made up and went on a scavenger hunt which led to everyone trying to find the craziest crap they could find which led to Daniele and I moving a porto-potty over to the campsite in hopes of winning. Not our proudest moment. The whole thing led to a bunch camp fire complete with marshmallow roasting and worshipping our Heavenly Father! The whole thing was perfect. Daniele Clark and I had been wanting to hang out with each other the whole fest but never got a chance because we were both so busy. So anyways, I had a really fun time Monday.

Tuesday: I hung out with the Clark family again for a while until the Mosses came and took me and a bunch of other folks home (that's Chicago home, mind you).

Wednesday: I slept in and then did massive amounts of laundry because I needed to.

Thursday: Cid and I drove three and a half hours to Indianapolis, Indiana to see The Showdown, Showbread and Blindside. The Showdown had a very fun set and I was glad to have discovered them for myself. Showbread put on a fun show as well despite the fact that in between two of their songs, one of the lead vocalists (they have two) named Josh, kept rambling on and on about Indiana. I finally yelled out "back to the music" and Josh proceeded to tell me that his voice should be like music to my ears. Well, the whole crowd being a bunch of adolescent girls who think Josh is dreamy, found that rather amusing and Josh declared himself the victor. Blindside was, of course, phenomenally awesome!!!! I have never ever in my life been disappointed with one of their live shows. The only flaw was that during their second song, Cid got kicked in the head by a crowd surfer and fell to the stage out cold for a few seconds. When she came to, she couldn't feel or move her right arm. Christian, the lead singer of Blindside was so sweet. He put his arms around her and helped her up onto the stage so that security coul dtake her away and make sure she was alright. Tomas, Blindside's bass player told the crowd that if even one more person crowd surfed, they would stop the show right then and leave. The rest of the set went off without a hitch. As we drove home, I gave Cid an earful about Josh being so irritating and far too stuck up. She simply rolled her eyes at me.

Friday: Cid and I arrive back at jpusa at 3:00am. We spend the first par tof our day working and then around 4:00pm we leave to go to the airport so that I can greet my aunt, uncle and new baby cousin who were passing through. My baby cousin is so cute!! Cid and I went straight from the airport to a venue here in Chicago where, the same three bands listed above, were playing. This venue was absolute crap! I've never been to a worse venue but even despite the bad venue, the shows were fun. After the show, Cid and I hung around and managed to strike up a couple friendships with a few of the guys from the different bands. I enjoyed a full conversation with Simon, guitarist from Blindside, as well as getting my picture taken with each member of Blindside. I also struck up a friendship with David, the very sweet lead singer of The Showdown. Cid and I spent a little time talking with Josh, the egotistical co-lead vocalist of Showbread. Cid asked him if he remebered a girl from the night before who didn't like his stories and he answered that he did. Although the look on his face was that of someone who has just smelled something very nasty, when I confessed that that was me, he looked rather amused but continued to give me a hard time about heckling him while he's on stage.

Saturday: Cid and I wake ourselves up at 7:30am so that we can be out the door by 9:00am because The Showdown goes on at 12:30pm and we have a three hour drive before we get to Lifest where our three band-of-the-moment bands will all be playing. Well, we pull into the Lifest parking lot at 12:30 exactly and have to run our butts nearly a mile to make it to The Showdown. As it happens, we only missed the first two or three songs and when we finally arrived at the stage they were playing on, David seemed very happy to see us. We spent the rest of the afternoon walking around the grounds and going on a little trip to Dairy Queen. We ran into some friends of ours that we had met at Cornerstone. They are with a ministry called Stand True and so it was fun to get to spend some time with them. I got to see Project 86 because they were there. That was another amazing show. I love Project 86! Then I went over to another tent to see Showbread and when Josh started talking about Oshkosh Bigosh overalls and how his mother used to tell him that they were Osh Josh Bigosh overalls, I shouted "your mother lied to you." He, again, pretended to be very offended by the fact that I told the whole fest that his mother lied to him and later in the set, when I heckled him yet again, he looked at me and said, "oh, it's you. I should have known." It was hilarious! During the Blindside set, well if you really want to know the details, you'll have to ask me but it was another fantastic set! As I've said, I've never been disappointed with one of their live shows. Well, Cid and I decided to stay the night because Disciple was playing at 12:30pm the next day and we wanted to see them. Plus, Brian Kemper of Stand True told us that he had two extra wristbands we were welcome to have which meant that we didn't have to pay to get in the next day. So Cid and I slept in her car in a hotel parking lot.

Sunday: We wake up at 7:00am because the sun was coming in and it was hot in the car. So, we woke up and went to a McDonald's for breakfast. We met up with the Stand True people at 8:45am and went into the fest with them. We wandered around until Disciple started, watched them play an excellent show, and then left Wisconsin to come home.

So this has been my week. You may call me crazy if you'd like. I know that I am, I won't be offended. The way I see it, God has blessed me with the opportunity to do everything I've ever wanted to do. He loves me so much more than I ever could have imagined. I give God all the glory. He is perfect! Thank you Abba Father for giving me all that I never knew I always wanted! I love You!

Depois, venha e siga-me".

Jesús horfði á hann með ástúð og sagði við hann: "Eins er þér vant. Far þú, sel allt, sem þú átt, og gef fátækum, og munt þú fjársjóð eiga á himni. Kom síðan, og fylg mér."

Isus S'a uitat ţintă la el, l -a iubit, şi i -a zis: ,,Îţi lipseşte un lucru; du-te de vinde tot ce ai, dă la săraci, şi vei avea o comoară în cer. Apoi vino, ia-ţi crucea, şi urmează-Mă.``

Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

Jesus looked at him and loved him. "One thing you lack," he said. "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

Jesus looked him hard in the eye--and loved him! He said, "There's one thing left: Go sell whatever you own and give it to the poor. All your wealth will then be heavenly wealth. And come follow me."

Jesus felt genuine love for this man as he looked at him. "You lack only one thing," he told him. "Go and sell all you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me."
